1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera - White 4 door post sedan.
| This car is a bit of an enigma. These mid size GM early
eighties cars may have been some of the worst ever made. My
father-in-law gave us this car after the engine died. If I
remember correctly the car had around 90.000 miles.
I never drove it one foot. We towed it to my garage and there it sat. I guess I knew if I ever got it running it would not last long so why bother? It was a good looking car and it looked almost new. Those miles were racked up quickly. The plan was to fix it up, but since my career took a turn for the better I decided to skip this one and buy a new one. This car overlapped the new one for a while. I got tired of looking at it and out it in the paper for a very small sum. I think it sold in one day. Goodbye silent Cutlass, hello rowdy Mustang. |
